Don’t Say No to the USO

SJE students lit up the stage for the patriotic musical, “Don’t Say No to the USO” for two evening performances on March 27 and 28, 2014. The musical, directed by parents Rachell Anderson and Kelly Lundberg featured a patriotic cast of G.I. Joes and Rosie the Riveter types who find camaraderie in a Brooklyn U.S.O club in 1942. Ships leaving the nearby Navy yard are being sunk by enemy U-boats this means spies have infiltrated the club. The hour long production included tap dancing, humor, suspense, dancing and singing and the eventual capture of spies.
